Morley Galleria Shopping Centre
The economics and versatility of incorporating Precast concrete proved the answer over conventional building methods for the Galleria Shopping Centre Complex.
Delta Corporation was presented with the task of supplying all of the Precast for the 60 000m² of retail area in a time period that most thought impossible.
A total of 25 000 tonnes of Precast product was manufactured and delivered to site in just 9 months.
Delta Corporation's facilities at its Herne Hill operations has the capacity to produce, handle, store and transport large amounts of Precast in short periods of time.
The Project consisted of a Cinema Complex above a Coles Supermarket, a four storey Myers store and a double level mall connecting these buildings together and a two level Carpark.
The Precast structure consisted of over 700N° Columns, 460N° Beams, 1100 Double Tee Floor Panels totalling an area of 24 000 m². A total of 1 100N° external Wall Panels totalling an area of 18 000m² provided the external facade.
Delta Corporation also supplied over 4 000m² of Deltacore Floor Panels to the Cinema floors and over 270N° Balustrade panels to the Carpark deck areas.
